A website for this hot latin album. Released in Germany through Universal Music. It reached no. 1 on iTunes!
Rhythms del Mundo Cubano Alemán is the second album from the Cuban RDM band. The album brings Latin musicians from Cuba, including some of the members of the Buena Vista Social Club together with top artists from Germany.
Having created the website for RDM's first album, this new website would promote this new album and further develop RDM's identity. The website needed an mp3 player to play clips of the tracks. It also needed to display video content.
I made the site in Flash, completing both the design and coding myself whilst meeting a tight deadline. The design was created in the same style as RDM Cuba . to give a highly individual feel to the site and to reflect the positivity and energy of the music. The mp3 player is made with xml meaning that the track clips can be updated easily.
